Welcome to USA FIT Galveston! We are a group of training partners and friends with a common goal- to stay fit and have a lot of fun along the way!

In the spring, we offer a 12 week SPRING TRAINING Program. In July, we’ll roll into our marathon training program. Marathon training extends from the summer of one year to the spring of the following year.

Spring Training is for everyone! It’s an interval-based program designed to get you out of your “comfort zone”; you can become stronger, faster, and improve your endurance. This program is divided into 3 groups: Fitness Walkers, Beginning Runners, and Runners (of all paces). No experience is necessary.

Even if you’ve never run a step before, training with our group will help you conquer mental and physical barriers you never thought possible. It happens all the time.

During our full and half marathon training, we will target and be ready for the San Antonio Rock N Roll Half Marathon and the Galveston Holiday Half in November and continue to train for the Santa Hustle, the Houston full & half marathons, the USA FIT full & half marathon, the Surfside full & half marathon, the Galveston full & half marathon, and the DIVA Half marathon. Of course we encourage you to do races along the way as well as later spring full & half marathons such as Lucky Trails and Angie’s Half Crazy.

We start wherever you are. Couch potato? Seasoned marathoner? Great. No matter what your conditioning or pace, there will be others to train with. Through the year, our coaches will help achieve your personal best in a non-intimidating, fun, and safe environment.

As a member of USA FIT Galveston, you’ll receive:

  • ability-based Saturday morning group runs;
  • daily training schedules to keep you progressing during the week;
  • encouragement and expertise from trained coaches;
  • frequent informational seminars on running-related topics;
  • camaraderie and social events;
  • a¬†USA FIT Galveston technical T-shirt.

The greatest benefit from these programs is what happens when you conquer your own personal challenges. Our members are fitter, happier, and mentally stronger than they’ve ever been before. Through this training, people change their lives forever.

**********Our 2018 Spring Training season officially begins Monday, February 19, at 6pm. Location will be mailed out to participants. Spring Training meets Monday & Wednesday evenings from 6-7pm.
