Registration for our 2012 SPRING TRAINING season is now OPEN! We offer 3 programs and invite persons of all skill levels to join.

Choose the program that is right for you! The FITNESS WALKING program will emphasize speed intervals and strength to enable the walker to finish a 5K with improved efficiency and ease. The WALK TO RUN program is for walkers and beginning runners who want to become better runners. This WALK TO RUN program incorporates walking with intermittent jogging that will gradually enable him/her to run longer periods of time and complete a 5K with improved efficiency and ease. The 5K/10K STAY FIT/GO FASTER program is for current runners who want to "get to the next level". Last years program proved VERY effective at improving runners' speed. All programs incorporate sprints, hills, plyometrics, running drills and core work. Official meeting times will be Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm. USA Fit Galveston

Welcome to USA FIT Galveston!!

We are opening the season for our 2012 SPRING PROGRAM. This program is 12 week long interval-based program for persons of all skill and experience levels.

Coached training days are twice a week: Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-7pm OR Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 5:30-6:30am.

Please wear good running shoes and proper moisture-whicking, running apparel (even if you are a walker). We also strongly recommend you bring a mat or towel for stretching and core strengthening exercises. You MUST bring your own hydration device. The evening sessions will always provide water for refills. Proper hydration and nutrition will be emphasized throughout the program.

This is a 12 week program from Feb 27th-May. We'll have the opportunity to participate in "benchmark" 5K or 10K races along the way to evaluate our progress. We'll remind you and provide you with education, but please be mindful of the heat and humidity! Take care of your bodies and make sure you eat a healthy snack before our training sessions. And strive to consume 12 glasses of water throughout the day.


By May, we will open registration for our MARATHON TRAINING program. This program is also open to persons of ALL skill and experience levels. We offer multiple training pace groups and a fitness walking group.
